A Celebration dedicated to "Black History"

The Historic First Baptist Church Owego, is pleased to present a special program in Celebration of "Black History Month"
There will be an emphasis on "Frederick Douglass and Local History"
A Historical Presentation by Rev. Marlene Steenburg about the First Baptist Church Building and Congregation.
A Black Contemporary song by Andrew Morrison
Historical comments and reflections about First Baptist Church Owego, Abolition and Frederick Douglass by Grace Thomas; Village official in charge of "Federal Preserve America Grants," Mayor Ed Arrington and Laura Rodd.
A Frederick Douglass speech will be dramatically read by Rev. G. Terry Steenburg, Pastor
Spirituals Sung by Andrew Morrison
